Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By registering for, attending, or otherwise accessing any material related to this event (including live sessions, recordings, hand‑outs, slides, chat messages, and any linked resources – collectively “Event Content”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not register for or attend the event.
2. Relationship to the Site & Privacy Policy
The event is organized by Dr. Sarah E. Carter and Purposely Digital (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Your participation is also subject to our Event Privacy Policy and Disclaimer (see below). By accepting these Terms you also acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
3. Electronic Communications
All communications related to the event (registration confirmations, reminders, follow‑up emails, and any notices posted on the event platform) will be delivered electronically. You consent to receive such electronic communications and agree that they satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
4. Intellectual Property License
All Event Content created by the Company, its speakers, or invited guests is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual‑property laws.
License: You are granted a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to view, download, and use the Event Content solely for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent, sub‑license, modify, create derivative works, or otherwise exploit the Event Content without our prior written consent.
5. Third‑Party Links & Materials
The event may contain links to third‑party websites, tools, or resources (“Third‑Party Sites”). Those sites are not under our control, and we do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any information they provide. You access Third‑Party Sites at your own risk and remain responsible for complying with any terms those sites impose.
6. Content Liability & User‑Generated Material
If you submit questions, comments, or any other material to the event platform (e.g., chat, Q&A, polls), you warrant that such material does not infringe any third‑party rights, is not defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise harmful. You agree to indemnify and defend the Company against any claim arising from your submissions.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and any guest speakers from any losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:
Your breach of these Terms;
Your violation of any applicable law or third‑party right; or
Any claim that your participation or submitted content infringes the rights of another party.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your participation in the event shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and shall be governed by Dutch law and, where applicable, EU law, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Event Content, including its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall the Company be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or any other damages arising out of or related to your participation in the event, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. International Participants
The Company is based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. If you access the event from outside the Netherlands, you are responsible for complying with any local laws that may apply to your participation.
11. Access Restrictions & Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to the event (including any recordings or supplementary materials) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason—including but not limited to breach of these Terms.
12. Reservation of Rights & Removal of Links
We may request that you remove any links to the event or related materials. Upon such request you agree to remove the links promptly. We also reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued participation after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Entire Agreement & Severability
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company concerning your participation in the event and supersede any prior communications, oral or written. If any provision is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice. The most current version will be posted on the event registration page. By continuing to attend the event after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
15. Refunds
Ticket refunds are possible up to 7 days prior to the event. In the case that we are unable to go forward with the event for any reason, you will be issued a full refund.
15. Results Disclaimer & Warranty
I make no warranty that the information or techniques provided in the event will achieve your specific goals for your particular circumstances. You will not hold me responsible for the failure (in whole or part) to achieve any of your goals.However, this disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights you may have under Dutch consumer protection law.
16. Contracting for Coaching Services
If, during or after the event, you elect to engage the Company for coaching or consulting services, a separate coaching agreement will be provided. Those services will be governed by the terms of that agreement in addition to these event‑specific Terms.

1. What data we collect
- Name, email address – for ticket issuance and event communication. If consented to: for marketing.
- Payment reference (handled by Eventbrite) – for processing the purchase and issuing receipts and invoices.
- IP address & device type – for fraud prevention and security monitoring.
2. Why we process it (legal bases)
- Ticket issuance & payment: Contract
- Invoices, receipts, and payment records: Legal compliance
- Event updates & security: Legitimate interest
- Marketing communication: Explicit consent
3. Who we share it with
- Eventbrite – ticketing platform and payment processor (data‑processor).
- Finom & Blue Umbrella – Accounting and banking software (data-processor).
- Zoom (if the event is virtual) – video‑conferencing service (data‑processor).
All processors are bound by GDPR‑compliant Data‑Processing Agreements (DPAs).
4. International transfers
Some providers (Eventbrite, Zoom) store data on servers in the United States or Canada. Appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
5. Retention
- Ticket‑related data: used only by us in the period providing contracted services. Eventbrite keeps this indefinitely. You can contact them to have it deleted.
- Accounting records (invoices, payment receipts) are kept for min. 7 years to satisfy Dutch business and tax obligations
- Optional marketing communications: until requested or you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data.
- Object to processing.
- Withdraw any consent at any time.

7. Complaints
